High School Phase

General Education and Training (GET) Phase | Grades 8 – 9

The General Education and Training (GET) Phase provides learners with a broad, balanced curriculum designed to develop essential knowledge, skills, and values. During Grades 8 and 9, learners build a strong academic foundation while exploring a variety of subject areas that prepare them for the Further Education and Training (FET) Phase.
Core Subjects

Further Education and Training (FET) Phase | Grades 10 – 12

The Further Education and Training (FET) Phase marks the beginning of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) programme. This phase equips learners with the academic knowledge, practical skills, and critical thinking abilities needed for university admission, tertiary studies, entrepreneurship, and the world of work.

Baseline Assessments

Comprehensive assessments are conducted at the beginning of each academic year in:

These assessments help identify learner strengths and areas requiring support, allowing for targeted academic intervention from the start.

Subject Support

Additional support classes are available in core subjects to strengthen foundational skills, improve confidence, and encourage academic success.

Goal Setting and Progress Tracking
